HISTORY
& INSTRUCTIONS
It is commonly believed
that St Therese grants the sign
of a rose to those who practice this devotion during a period of nine to
twenty-four days, as a proof that the petition is granted. The
sign of a rose or some other visible sign is not always evident, but
many persons have received special graces by reciting this chaplet.
To pray this Rosary,
bless yourself and say on the first bead:
St Therese of the Infant
Jesus, Patroness of Missions, pray for us!
On each of the
remaining twenty-four beads say the Glory be to the Father in honor of
the Blessed Trinity, in thanksgiving for giving the world the Little
Saint who lived only twenty-four years.

PRAYER
TO ST THERESE
St Therese, the Little Flower, please
pick me a rose from the heavenly garden and send it to me with a message
of love. Ask God to grant me the favor I thee implore and tell Him
I will love Him each day more and more.
(The prayer above, plus five Our
Fathers, five Hail Marys and five Glory be to the Fathers, must be said
on five successive days before 11 a.m. On the fifth day, when the
fifth set of prayers have been completed, offer one more set - five Our
Fathers, five Hail Marys and five Glory be to the Fathers.)
